Is Bravecto treatment available in different forms?

Yes. This product is available in two forms:

  • Chewable Tablet – An oral chewable tablet that should be given with food.
  • Topical Solution – A spot-on solution that should be applied directly to the dog’s skin.

How safe are Bravecto Chews for Dogs?

No. Bravecto Chewable is not a topical treatment. Therefore, even immediate bathing or swimming will not affect the efficacy of the treatment. The length of your dog’s coat or brushing will also not impact on how it works.

Can Bravecto be given to a dog who is receiving treatment for another condition?

What should I do if the dog vomits after taking the chew?

If 4 or more hours have passed before your dog vomits, the dose is likely to get absorbed and the dog is protected. If your dog is otherwise healthy and has vomited within 3 hours of receiving the treatment, administer a new dose. However, wait for 24 hours until you re-dose to avoid the chances of vomiting again. Do not administer a third chew in case the dog vomits again. Consult a veterinarian to get tailored recommendations.

Is it okay if a dog receives the chew dosage earlier than 12 weeks?

There are no adverse effects expected if a dog is treated with twice the recommended dosage within 12 weeks. It is suggested, however, to contact a veterinarian in such a situation.

Bravecto chew and Bravecto Topical are flea and tick treatments that provide up to 12 weeks of protection. Use chews if your dog is comfortable with receiving an oral treatment.
